How is tutoring online possible?

"So...you are going to tutor online, okay, how on earth does that work?" I often get this question and with a passion I share how thankful I am to tutor at a time when we can share virtual space, and documents, in a way that allows for working with diverse students around the nation. We are all so busy, and not having to get into a car, and fight traffic, protects the precious time we have with our children, and families. As far as how it works...Zoom is incredible. Once we have decided on a time you will be sent an invitation code and then we can see each other, and are able to share documents either with BitPaper, Whizzimo, or other developing technology. Many families find this forum to be a relief, and less distracting than in person formats. I will walk clients through signing in to sessions and finding their way to reading success utilizing convenient, and effective, tutoring.
